After aligning on desired content pieces on site, we set out to explore additional spots that would engage travellers. The results were eventually promoted on handpicked Instagram accounts with themes such as Greece, Santorini or the best hotels in the world. Our promotion resulted in thousands of likes from our audience and increased awareness among Santorini fanatic users.
Since the hotel was relatively young, a strong social media position was not realized yet. We worked on creating social-ready content with a focus on high-class interior shots and promoted these across our Instagram accounts at a 500k audience. The hotel has since then managed to further develop its social media position and digital storytelling.
With other locations in top holiday destinations around the world such as the Maldives, Sanya or Ubud, the parenting group Capella Hotels has created a highly exclusive brand image. We built awareness for the Dusseldorf branch on social media by producing content and promoting it through Instagram posts and stories. Setting a focus on luxury and exclusivity, we created a storytelling framework that fit into Instagram while being aligned with the overall brand position.
Besides drone shots taken, it was especially panoramic sea views from the hotel that added to an overall romantic island story with Kivotos at its core.
Our shots were featured as part of a content campaign with multiple Instagram postings and personal stories. We promoted these on more than 15 owned Instagram accounts with dedicated themes such as “Greece”, “Santorini” or “globally outstanding hotels” with an audience of 1 million users.
After the campaign, we have written a personal hotel review that was placed on our travel blog and ranked first among organic Google search results.
We provided photo- and videographic services with pictures being used on booking/review platforms such as TripAdvisor. Due to the hotel’s unique characteristics, exterior drone shots were particularly relevant for awareness-driving postings which we placed on 5 Instagram accounts at a total audience of 500k users.
